Second Blessings Sales couldn't happen without our amazing volunteers. Our aim is to make volunteering a fun and enjoyable experience. We understand the importance of great helpers – therefore we are happy to offer a few benefits to entice you! Please remember – you do not have to be a consignor to volunteer with us! We would love to see you at our next sale!

Shop early – for Volunteers only! Get the first pick of consigned items when you volunteer to work with us!

If you consign and volunteer for one 4-hour shift, we will increase your earnings from 60% to 70% of sales!

Volunteer Guidelines
As a volunteer, please remember these important points:
• Dress comfortably.
• Eat before your shift or bring a snack with you.
• Children may not work shifts with you and child care is not provided.
• Please leave personal belongings in your car or at home – there may not be an area to safely store them.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your shift to sign in, receive your assignment, and to get training.
• Come prepared to have a good time!
If you need to cancel your volunteer shift – please do so 5 days in advance to not receive a penalty (loss of your 10% increase and no volunteering opportunities in the future). As moms, we know situations come up, but remember it takes all of us to coordinate a great sale. So, if an emergency arises, it will be up to you to find a replacement or to sign up for a later shift.

If you do not plan to consign with us, you MUST sign up for a shift prior to presale.
Volunteering shifts are easy, last 4 hours, and are duties you probably already handle daily in your role as a mommy! We need assistance with: checking in consignors, organizing sale items, helping shoppers, restocking racks, and breakdown of the sale! Or, volunteer your significant other and you receive the benefits! If you have physical limitations or are an expectant mother, we have light duties available.
